Enduro Race and Demolition Derby
Including all IMCA classes and Street Stock
IMCA sanctioned for Hobby Stock, I-Stock, Sport mods, and Modifieds. Will pay regular purse, unless there is less than 10 cars and then will go by the purse for 9 cars. Street Stock will pay regular purse, unless there is less than 10 cars, and then will go by the purse for 9 cars.
Gates open at 4:00 P.M. and Races Start at 6:00 P.M.

General Rules for Enduro Cars:
1. There must be 20 or more cars in order to have this race.
2. 1st car to complete 100 laps is the winner.
3. Each car and driver must be entered by September 21,2011 or will be considered a late entry.
4. The race will begin from a standing start.
5. Cars must hold their position until green flag is displayed.
6. The red flag will only be displayed if there is a fire or rollover. At which time ALL cars must stop. Cars moving under the red will receive a five-
Lap penalty. The race will restart with the cars in the same position as te last completed lap.
7. Pitting under/during a red flag will result in a five-lap penalty.
8. Winner can enter the car into the derby and if they choose not to do so, then the driver will have to sell the car to the track for $300.00 to the track,
And the car will be auctioned off in front of the flag stand, and the new owner may enter it into the demolition Derby, but does not have to.
9. When the race has went either 100 laps or for an hour, the race will be called and the winners will be awarded in the order of when the race
Will be called
Car and Body Rules:
1. Any 1960 or newer car is eligible. No pickups, four wheel drives, or jeep type vehicles. 4, 6, or 8 cylinder engines OK. Minimum Stock
Wheelbase allowed. 101 inches for V-8, 88 inches for V-6 or 4 cylinders.
2. It is allowable to have a horizontal bar behind the seat from door to door for safety purposes.
3. No-bracing in the bumper areas. However, bumpers must be chained, or cabled as a safety.
4. All doors must be chained, and driver’s door may be welded.
5. All glass removed with screened in windshield.
6. Racing approved shoulder harness and lap belts are recommended. Racing seats allowed.
7. All burnable type materials, floor mats, head liners, rear seats, ect. Must be removed. The rear seat shelf must be left in as a fire stop, and any
Openings to the trunk area must be enclosed if aftermarket fuel cell is mounted in the trunk.
8. Complete bumper to bumper steel uni-body must be retained. (Fuel cells, properly attached may be located in the trunk).
9. The stock steel unaltered floor pan, firewalls, and trunk must be retained. (Fuel cells properly attached may be located in the trunk).
10. Cars must retain their strictly stock appearance, no cutting, chopping, channeling, or shortening allowed. Hoods must be kept in place at all
Times.
11. Mesh window nets are permitted, must be removable.
12. Front inner fenders may be removed, rear inner fenders must remain. Wheel wells may be trimmed for clearance only.
13. No added weight allowed! No spare parts, extra battery, water bottles, tires, ect….. may be carried while racing.
Suspension, Tires, and Wheels:
1. Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and model car. No spacers, lumber, or chains, ect……. May be used to alter
Stock suspension.
2. Springs must be OEM design. No overload shocks with coil over springs. One spring and original shock in original mount only.
3. Stock wheels only. No racing wheels or offset wheels. DOT legal tires must pass thru a 9” hoop at the bulge. No gumball tires, no mud tires,
No studded tires. All season radials OK.
Engines:
1. The engines must be strictly stock for that model and make and in its original mounts. No aftermarket external oil coolers.
2. A/C and heat components may be removed.
3. Smog equipment may be removed.
4. Minimum of 18 lbs.of vacuum at 1000 RPM.
5. Air cleaner to oil pan must be all factory equipment.
Transmissions:
1. Stock transmission and rear end only. No aftermarket external oil coolers.
Miscellaneous:
1. Fuel cells permitted, and may be placed in the trunk area if securely fastened, or gas tanks must be original and remain in original location.
Must have two (2) metal holding straps.
2. Batteries may be relocated but must be contained in a marine container or compareable container securely fastened.
3. Headlights, tail lights, and all chrome must be removed.
4. Any loss of a wheel or tire requires your immediate leaving the race course. Continuing on a flat tire is not permitted.
5. Rupture of your gas tank and/or loss of gas requires immediate black flag.
6. No locked rears.
7. Approved helmet required.
8. Any driver climbing out of a car while on a racing surface during the green flag WILL be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
9. Cars will hold their position until the green flag is displayed.
10. The yellow flag will not be used. If there are cars with breakdowns or crashed, the other cars will avoid them and continue the race.
Stop for fire or rollover ONLY.
11. The red flag will be displayed for fire or rollovers only. At that time ALL cars must stop under the red flag. The race will be restarted with
The cars in the same position as the last lap completed. The flagman will indicate the middle of the race. The white flag will indicate the leader
Is on the final lap.
Starting Position Assignment:
1. All starting position numbers will be assigned in the order of the entry into the event. Only pre-registered cars will be allowed to com to the track
With numbers already on the car. Cars that so not pre-register must bring a can of spray paint (in a contrasting color to the base color of the car)
To add the number to the car at the track. Drivers registering after the deadline or on the day of the event will start at the rear of the field as they
Came through the gate.
2. ANY CAR, TEAM, OR DRIVER NOT MEETING Champion Motor Speedway SPECIFICATIONS, OR STANDARD RACING SAFETY
PROCEDURES AND EQUIPMENT IS SUBJECT TO AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATIONS AND/OR PENALTIES.
Demolition Derby Rules:
1. Passenger cars only- No trucks, jeeps, or hearses.
2. All glass must be removed from vehicle.
3. All doors must be chained and drivers door can be welded.
4. No welding or additional re-enforcement will be allowed to any part except driver door.
5. No passengers in derby vehicles anytime they are being operated.
6. Full face helment required. Drivers are encouraged to wear fire retardant overalls or driving suit.
7. Seatbelts are required.
8. No studs or chains on tires.
9. Fire extinguisher required.
